BABY PHOTOS
Take pictures of the newborns.
Hours: flexible
BABY ROCKERS
Rock babies in nursery on an on-call basis.
Hours: flexible as needed
CLERICAL
Assigned directly to departments for help with special projects. Some assignments may involve work with a computer. If you are not comfortable with a computer, you will not be placed in a computer position.
Hours: work out job duties and schedule directly with department
COFFEE CART
Deliver coffee and goodies to patients and guests.
Hours: 1:30 p.m. until complete
DELIVERY
Deliver mail, pick up menus and help fill out when needed, deliver flowers, newspapers, and on Mondays deliver forms to various departments.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. until complete
EAST INFORMATION DESK
Work with staff to greet patients when they enter and meet their needs and do small tasks.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m., 12:30-4:00 p.m., or 4:00-8:00 p.m.
FAMILY WAITING DESK
Act as host/hostess for patient’s families. Pass out beepers (just like at a restaurant).
Hours: 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m., 12:00-4:00 p.m., or 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Tuesdays or as arranged with the west end admitting staff
GIFT SHOP
Help customers and stock shelves.
Hours: Weekdays – 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 12:30-4:00 p.m., and 4:00-8:00 p.m.; Saturday – 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 12:00-4:00 p.m.; Sundays – 12:00-4:00 p.m.
3RD FLOOR INFORMATION DESK
Greet visitors to the 3rd floor.
Hours: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 12:00-4:00 p.m.
PATIENT COMPANIONS
Sit with patients (usually the elderly or children) who need company or supervision on an on-call basis from the floors.
Hours: flexible as needed
RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE
Check with patients who were not asked upon admission if they would like to have their spiritual leader notified.
Hours: times are flexible
2ND FLOOR AND 3RD FLOOR
Deliver beverages and meal trays.
Hours: times are flexible
WEST INFORMATION DESK
Work with staff to greet patients when they enter and meet their needs.
Hours: 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 12:30-4:00 p.m., 4:00-8:00 p.m.
