Are there assisted living services at Baker Park?
Sanford Health Neilson Place provides services to those tenants at Baker Park who need and want the assisted living services. They need to contract for services separately with Sanford Health Neilson Place, since it is not part of the rent.
Is meal service available?
Yes, our dining facility provides nutritious hot meals daily. Tenants are required to purchase a minimum meal program that costs $115.00 for 20 meals.
Is Baker Park handicap accessible?
Yes, Baker Park has five handicapped accessible apartments.
Can I get my hair done at Baker Park?
There is a beauty/barber shop at Baker Park and an independent hairdresser is available by appointment.
Is the building secure?
Yes, an individual needs a badge access to get into the building. Additionally, a contracted security firm provides scheduled surveillance of the facility.
Do Baker Park tenants have easy access to transportation to and from appointments/shopping?
The facility is conveniently located within a short distance of the downtown area with shopping, library, transportation, recreational facilities, and many churches nearby. It has easy bus access to the hospital, medical clinics, and shopping mall.
How do I apply to live at Baker Park?

What additional expenses will I have at Baker Park?
As mentioned previously, tenants are required to purchase a minimum meal program that costs $115.00 for 20 meals. In addition, telephone and cable are not included in monthly rent, but all other utilities are included.
What is the cost of an apartment at Baker Park?
Rent varies by tenant income. HUD guidelines impose income limits and require that tenants pay a portion (typically 30%) of their adjusted gross income toward their rent. Please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your situation.
