NCHS Names New VP of Business Development and Marketing

NORTH COUNTRY HEALTH SERVICES NAMES NEW
VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING

North Country Health Services (NCHS) is pleased to announce that Joy Johnson has accepted the VP of Business Development and Marketing position on its leadership team. She will begin her new duties effective January 4, 2010. Joy has approximately 30 years of health care experience. She most recently has served as the VP Planning & Ancillary Services at Riverview Health located in Crookston, MN. She has served in this role for the past 14 years and has been instrumental in assisting Riverview in expanding and developing new service lines and providing the economic viability for that organization.

NCHS looks forward to utilizing Joy’s experience and expertise to assist in its growth and development of service lines and promoting the organization and local physicians to our service area.

Ms. Johnson, a native of Bemidji, graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks with a Bachelors of Science degree and also attended graduate school at UND. She completed the Executive Program in Healthcare Finance at The Ohio State University. She has served as the president of the North Dakota chapter for healthcare marketing professionals and has been active in community organizations, serving as board president of the local Lions Club, Developmental Achievement Center and Chamber of Commerce. Her husband, Dave, is a special education teacher and they have two adult sons, Kirby, a senior at Concordia College in Moorhead and Casey, Finance Director at MeritCare Health System in Thief River Falls.
